 Hello! My name is
Sergey Spirin. I am software architect and developer from Russia.These pages are about two my products that are made on the basis of excellent report generator - FastReport. But, let's all in order. I am a graduate of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Department of Philosophy. Do not be surprised:) My specialization in philosophy has become - the logic, and this explains a lot. In the 20th century, philosophical neopositivism ideas could lead to very unexpected results. It turned out that many logic-scientists began to actively use the computer science in their research. As a result, many of them simply had to become programmers, application developers. The scope of my research was the infinite-valued logic of Lukasiewicz.
I have developed a decision procedure for it and ways of its automation. Part of my diploma work was a great program, which automate the process of proof, not only in the infinite-valued logic, but also in other logical-mathematical calculus. In this works I used Pascal and C/C++. But at the end, Object Pascal became my favorite programming language. Recent works at the university has already written on Delphi1 for Windows 3.xx. In 1997 I came to work in the company "ParitetSoft" (unfortunately, in the mid 90's in Russia was a crisis, and science were paid poorly). This company was founded in 1991 and specializes in developing software for accounting and workflow. Of course, all software of this company was written in Clipper. So I met with Clipper and for several years worked closely with him. Basically, I solved the problem of "weak spots" Clipper. For example, the generation of reports. And also I translated Clipper-applications in Delphi.
At this time I became acquainted with the first versions of FastReport and I "love" it. In my opinion, for Win32-application it is one of the best, perhaps, the best solution for reports generating. FastReport has an amazing architecture of code and is written at the highest professional level. When today's Win32-descendants of Clipper achieved a certain maturity, I have developed a method of hybrid applications, ie applications that are written in two languages. This approach made it possible to realize such products as FRH and FRAX. Now, I am co-owner of
"ParitetSoft"-company. The company has a good future, but because
business of the company has a little bit different specificity now, I
brought FastReport-products from ParitetSoft and work with them as an
individual businessman*. I do it with authority of the OEM-agreement
with Fast Report Inc. Number of the OEM-agreement (contract) - #FRP 1.
Since 2006 I develops and sells "FastReport for Alaska Xbase++" (FRAX),
and since 2008 "FastReport for [x]Harbour" (FRH). For the full
